We are led to believe that Kevin Rudd our new PM is a Christian. Personally, I dispute that as he has never talked about or owned up to being “born again” and as we know Jesus said “except a man is born again, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God”.
In addition, he was brought up catholic and changed to Anglican because his so called wife was. I say so called because she has a different name than him so we only have his word for it.
On top of that he has pandered to the homosexual militants and virtually given their sexual perversion equal status with everyone else. Fornication, which is sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman, is forbidden in scripture but he considers himself above God’s word now that he is PM.
Now he is proposing a Bill of Rights which from past experience becomes a Bill of Wrongs and creates government by Judges. A recent case has Californian judges’ vetoing the will of the people and the legislature by overturning their wishes that marriage is between a man and a woman. The judges have decided that it is a ‘natural right’ for homosexuals to marry.
In other words, government in California has become the province of unelected and unrepresentative judges who are imposing their whims on the rights of the majority. What you might call a ‘tyranny of judges’.
This will happen in Australia with the passing of a federal bill of rights especially when you have people like Michael Kirby as a high court judge, who is an avowed homosexual and a revisionist judge who has little respect for the wishes of the people.
It has been often said we get the government we deserve and that the world goes the way of the church. That being the case we are in deep trouble as it means that we are comfortable with sin. The evidence is there as some denominations and Christian organisations are standing up for homosexual rights. There are some denominations that are welcoming homosexuals into the ranks of their clergy.
Is there an answer? Yes there is. The sooner we ditch organised apostate religion and let it pursue its ungodly way of life without our support, and start living the New Testament way of life the sooner we will put scripture before populism and tradition which usually ignores the word of God.

Keep up the good work! I do believe we live in "A new dark age" where God is always knocking on the door of people's hearts, but nevertheless, allows them to "have their own way" and find for themselves that they go down "dead end streets". I for one was in that position. I endlessly was trying to fill the emptiness in my soul with stuff and nonsense!! it wasn't until I found Christ that the emptiness was filled up with him and gave me complete and LASTING satisfaction! It is ONLY IN HIM that we truly LIVE! Even in Christian "circles" people go around in circles, having a form of godliness, but never adhering to the truth....how sad..how very sad for them for they are missing out on the best that life can ever offer.
Thankyou for your testimony. It certainly raises a pertinent question "Is the church preaching Christ or religion?"
Religion cannot give life as expressed by this testimony. Christ can.
