PRAYING CHURCH

I don’t know about Africa, Asia or China, but certainly in the USA, Australia, the UK and Europe who are sliding down the path of moral anarchy, the only thing that can save the nation is a united praying church.

Why do I say that? It is obvious that the governments of these nations have lost the plot as they cave into political correctness, the homosexual lobby and the secular humanist religion. It is almost against the law to be a Christian these days. Say anything about sin and you are in dead trouble under hate laws that are used mainly to silence Christians so that the moral anarchists can be as immoral as they want with impunity.

Because governments have played right into Satan’s hands and his servants on earth, they can’t solve any problem that needs righteous judgment. They take one step forward and seem to end up taking two steps backward. Under all these governments, sin is getting worse and worse and worse to the point where it is defended by law and those who have a different viewpoint are put in prison. Being righteous is now illegal.

And what is the churches role in all this? It can have only one and that is united prayer. All its programmes and entertainment is going to achieve zilch in combating this onslaught from Satan. However, Satan is quite happy for the church to keep entertaining itself. The thing that it doesn’t want it to do is pray because prayer changes things and prayer changes people.

He has been very successful in keeping the church divided (35,000 denominations worldwide) and he has been very successful in keeping the church from praying. How many churches do you know where prayer is the most important activity they do and they spend more time praying than anything else they do?

If you are like me not one.

Satan doesn’t stop what is ineffective. He is only concerned with what works and what works with the church is prayer, united prayer.

Do you want your town, city, country to climb back from the moral anarchy that it is suffering from? Then this is how you do it.

First, all the ministers in the town get together and before each other confess their arrogance and their independent spirit and ask each other’s forgiveness and start submitting to one another.

Then they meet every week to pray for the church and their town and country. Then they make prayer a priority in their churches. Instead of having their Sunday morning entertainment they turn it over to prayer for the church and their town and country.

At least once a month they bring all the churches together for a night of prayer and intercession for their church and town and country. They confess to their independence and their ignoring what God wants to do to save the people.

Until this happens, the moral anarchy will increase exponentially and it will be a case of Christians being fed to the lions metaphorically before we wake up to the reality of the situation.

People, we are in crisis, evident by the fact that most church leaders are content to turn over the machinery of religion. They have no concept of the spiritual warfare that we are engaged in.

Unless they repent and ask God’s forgiveness, they will be removed from their post or they will lose their churches. And that is “thus saith the Lord.”
