WHAT IS ATHEISM?

Atheism is a fool's paradise. Despite the fact that atheists deride religion of every hue, atheism is a religion. Its bible is the Humanist Manifesto, which replaces God with man as god.

Apart from the obvious, here is what some prominent atheists have said.

Roy Wood Sellars, author of the 1933 edition of the Humanist Manifesto said that it will be a free man’s RELIGON.

Charles Francis Potter said in his book ‘Humanism: A New Religion’ it is a new type of RELIGION altogether.

John Dewey called for a new RELIGION i.e. atheism

Lloyd Moran, former president of the American Humanist Society said that humanism is a religion without a God, divine revelation, or sacred scriptures (except the Humanist Manifesto).

The Humanist Manifesto says “humanism is a philosophical, RELIGIOUS and moral (sic) point of view as old as human civilisation itself.”

Paul Kurtz (Free Inquiry) says that the American Humanist Association has a RELIGIOUS tax exemption. This one is strange as they have fought tooth and nail to have the tax exemption for Christian organizations removed.

What is the equivalent of the ten commandments of this religious non religion? In layman's terms simply this.

“No one, plus nothing, times blind chance, equals everything”. This is Darwin’s theory of evolution which atheism is based on. This is how they explain that there is no supernatural being and that religious faith except their own is implausible.

With such an incredibly unscientific creed, it is no wonder that the scriptures says in Psalms 14:1 that the fool says in his heart “there is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile: there is no one who does good.”

Perhaps we should make April Fools Day the national holiday for atheists.

The scripture says that unbeliever’s eyes are blinded as evident by God’s anointing of Paul to preach the gospel.

Act 26:18 in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

Anyone who believes that no one, plus nothing, times blind chance equals everything definitely have had their eyes closed and are walking in darkness. Only the Holy Spirit can open their eyes with the truth of Jesus the son of God.

Which begs the question, “how shall they hear without a preacher?” not one in the pulpit but one who goes into all the world as Jesus told us to do. Atheists, instead of being people to be feared are people who are to be pitied. If at no other time, pray for them on April Fools Day.

Kurtz opposed the AHA's religious tax exemption, and so he started the Council for Secular Humanism in 1980 which does not have such an exemption. CSH has an educational tax exemption.

"Even the American Humanist Association, which has both religious and nonreligious members and is often considered to be a 'naturalistic humanist' association, has a religious tax exemption."
