SUPER SUPERNATURAL Pt 2

The next question is “what are the symptoms of rejection?”

There are two branches and the first goes like this. It starts with loneliness, followed by misery; this develops into self pity i.e. nobody loves me which can trigger depression producing an inability to cope. This is often followed by despair giving the impression that a person is beyond help and the final step is suicide.

The second branch starts with hardness to protect oneself from further rejection and this leads to indifference, a don’t care attitude which sets up barriers. Once this trait is established, rebellion sets in with a them and us mentality and it can end up in witchcraft which is moving from a true God to a false God.

What is the antidote to rejection? Of course there is only one and that is acceptance. God accepts us through Jesus Christ and we are made perfect in him. But how do we get to that state of mind and being.

The problem is that rejection colours all our thinking so right thinking is very difficult. From observation, I would have to say that at least 50% of ministers in Australia are doing the job they are because of rejection. In that case, everything is filtered through the rejection so they will not hear from God, they will hear from their rejection.

Freedom from rejection will need the following actions on the person’s part.
1. Forgiveness for the person or people that you perceive have rejected you.
2. Receiving forgiveness from God for rejecting them.
3. Lay down bitterness, resentment, hatred and rebellion.

These three actions will make it possible for a person to be delivered from a spirit of rejection and come into the freedom of acceptance. Don’t be surprised if a few tears are shed in the process.
